A beautiful way to honor you and your journey from Maiden to Mother (whether this is your first baby or a subsequent baby). A Mother’s Blessing is an intimate gathering of women that are friends or family who come together in circle to bless and honor you in pregnancy.

Gathering in ceremony or ritual prepares you emotionally and spiritually for the journey of birth, postpartum, and mothering ahead. This will be an incredibly special experience that you can cling to during the valleys and remember in fondness during the peaks.

The transition from Maiden to Mother is one of the greatest, and most transformative experiences in a woman’s life. When we go through major life events without marking them appropriately, we lose the opportunity to anchor that moment in our experience. 

A Mother’s Blessing is an opportunity to mark that right of passage.

This experience allows you be vulnerable, to be heard, and to envision a postpartum journey supported by those you trust most. A postpartum mother can’t postpartum herself. Without adequate support, new mothers simply can’t embrace postpartum the way they need to. The foundation of postpartum care is support.

Mother’s Blessings return to ancient traditions of women gathering to support and uplift one another. Across generations and cultures, women have come together in circles to honor each other’s journeys. Embracing this huge rite of passage can be a transformative act for every mother.

Each Mother’s Blessing I host is handcrafted for YOU and is specific to you and those supporting you. We will meet together beforehand so we can discuss and decide which rituals would be most meaningful to you and to get a good idea about the guests that will be attending. This way we can make sure all of the rituals/ceremonies are approachable to you and your group.
